Mist still surrounds the crashed remains of the quinjet, but that is the least of the Avengers' problems. Seven super powered warriors and countless guards surround the heroes, and overseeing the action is Superia herself.

Steve's always been an early riser. 5 AM, he's out of bed and exercising.

Today, he ran a few miles, then returned to the Avengers gym for some work on the uneven bars. A shower later, and he's in his sweatclothes in the dining room with a bowl of cereal for breakfast.

There were writeups in all of the big papers in the city. The explosion had been seen and heard across most of the city and there hadn't been anything else horribly newsworthy that day, like, say, Galactus trying to snack on the planet ( Read more... )

After Night Thrasher threw up his smokescreen, the remaining uncaptured New Warriors, that is, Speedball, Thrash, and Turbo hightailed it out of there, dodging through alleyways and staying out of the main streets in order to escape the notice of SHIELD.
